My Photography Is Going To The Dogs! (If You're A Dog Owner, You'l Love This!)

Here's a quick and easy way to create an instant portfolio of dog photos: A Photo Booth for Dogs!

My town has a street fair every year, and many residents bring their pooches. I teamed up with someone who made homemade dog treats, and together we offered treats and canine portraits. We used samples of the treats to get each dog to pose.

I made the session free, got everyone's email address. At the end of the day I uploaded the photos to my Smugmug gallery and set it so the owners could order prints, T-Shirts, Coffee Mugs and more with their fur baby's face. 

It was quick, fun and easy, and yes I made a few hundred dollars. And I ended up with a good sample of pup portraits which used effectively to market to future clients. A win-win!
